Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Development team for Banking and amp; FinTech Products. The Head of Development will be responsible for driving the strategy execution and innovation in our technology offerings focusing on delivering high-quality products that meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the banking and financial services industry coupled with extensive experience in software development and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of innovative banking and FinTech solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage the development lifecycle from concept through deployment.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing development team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular analysis of market trends to identify opportunities for new product offerings.
- Oversee technical architecture and system integration strategy to support product scalability.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding product development and updates.
- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in software development methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E.) or related field.
- Minimum of 11 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in the BFSI sector particularly in banking and FinTech.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance in the financial services industry.
- Expertise in software development methodologies tools and technologies.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
