The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategically minded Marketing Director to lead SHMs luxury brand evolution drive visibility in the high-net-worth residential market and oversee the operations of a growing marketing team. This individual will unify brand storytelling public relations digital presence and client engagement with creativity precision and a deep appreciation for the SHM ethos.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership emotional intelligence and marketing expertise to a fast-paced high-touch design environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Brand Leadership
Develop and execute long-term marketing strategies aligned with firm vision and growth goals.
Steward the SHM brand across all platforms ensuring consistent visual and editorial identity.
Partner with firm leadership on positioning messaging and strategic growth decisions.
Manage marketing budgets invoices and forecasts.
Public Relations
Serve as primary contact for PR efforts; partner with PR firm to amplify SHMs stories.
Align PR goals with business development and brand strategy.
Coordinate interviews press releases and leadership media opportunities.
Track upcoming projects events and thought-leadership initiatives.
Digital & Social Media
Lead and manage SHMs social media strategy and execution.
Curate compelling visual and written content highlighting heritage craftsmanship and client connection.
Produce digital assets (graphics reels campaigns) via Adobe Suite and Canva.
Content & Collateral
Oversee creation of proposals presentations RFPs/RFQs newsletters and other client-facing materials.
Direct storytelling copywriting and creative development for SHMs public image.
Photography & Visual Media
Manage image strategy photo shoots vendors and archives.
Oversee usage rights and creative media assets including timelapse and video production.
Client Experience & Business Development
Shape high-touch client engagement strategies from first contact through project milestones.
Partner with leadership to target and convert high-net-worth prospects.
Organize exclusive events partnerships and collaborations to elevate brand perception.
Team Leadership
Manage mentor and grow a team of Marketing Coordinators.
Set priorities provide direction and ensure accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications PR or related field.
510 years of marketing leadership experience ideally in luxury architecture design or related industries.
Proven ability to lead brand storytelling and connect with high-net-worth audiences.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required) Canva and Microsoft Office 365.
Proficiency with Mailchimp social platforms and project management tools ().
Strong portfolio demonstrating marketing leadership and luxury brand positioning.
Skilled in vendor management budgeting and campaign execution.
Exceptional writing communication and visual storytelling ability.

Work Environment
Collaborative studio environment in the historic Meadows Building at Energy Square.
Standard hours: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM MondayFriday (flexibility offered when business needs are met).
Occasional evenings/weekends and limited local travel may be required.
