Lead the Glaucoma Franchise marketing strategy across EMEA with full accountability for driving the performance and lifecycle management of Roclanda and Catiolanze. This role will focus on transforming Roclanda into a trusted and targeted solution for key glaucoma patient segments while reinforcing Catiolanzes product differentiation and launch success through its dual benefit positioning.
The role supports the execution of the broader glaucoma portfolio strategy by enabling country teams strengthening clinical confidence overcoming growth barriers and positioning Santen as a long-term partner in individualized glaucoma treatment
Qualifications :
Education
- Must: University degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent in science and/or business
- Is a plus: Master in Business or Marketing
Experience
- Experience in developing strategies and leading execution
- Experience of working on brands which have required market shaping
- New product launch and life cycle management and omnichannel experience
- Experience of developing and collaborating with KOLs
- Experience of hiring and managing external agencies (creative/med comms)
- 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry ideally in specialty care or ophthalmology
- Country and above country experience
- Knowledge of glaucoma therapeutic landscape and market dynamics across EMEA is a plus
- Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration in a matrix environment
- Experience with customer segmentation value proposition development and evidence generation
- High learning agility and capacity to operate in a fast-changing environment
Functional competencies
- Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights product commercialization and branding
- Ability to lead and engage a cross functional and cross-country teams to develop and execute a marketing plan
- Strong strategic thinking and critical analysis skills
- Strong numerical skills/commercial acumen (confident reading and playing with numbers)
- Ability to build strong relationships with key customers and be an ambassador for Santen externally with KOLs and other key stakeholders
- Creativity and out of the box thinking
- Flexibility & mobility available to travel (30-40% travel)
- Hybrid approach
- Ability to understand and communicate fluently in English (verbal/written)
- Strong communication presentation and influencing skills
- Digital fluency and omnichannel campaign leadership
