Mercer Marsh Benefits Business Development Manager (South)
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. The successful candidate for this role will be based in either Bristol Bournemouth Chichester or London on a hybrid basis with a requirement to work 3 days per week in the office.
Mercer Marsh Benefits is a specialist in employee benefits health insurance and workplace wellness for SMEs domestic employers and large multinational firms.
We are currently looking to recruit a talented individual to join us as a Business Development Manager.
Within your role youll lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives motivate team members and foster a thriving innovative culture.
We will count on you to:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand services and add value to clients.
- Manage client relationships across all levels ensuring full scope of services and collaboration with other teams and business units.
- Oversee project management activities including scope and budget monitoring and communicate scope changes and financial implications effectively.
- Support complex client engagements develop intellectual capital and improve operational efficiencies through innovative approaches.
What you need to have:
- Excellent communication skills and previous experience of managing stakeholders
- Able to effectively communicate with virtual and in-person team members.
- Prior healthcare / protection experience (or both).
- Achievement and target-oriented mindset with strong relationship management skills.
- Proven technical product and process knowledge along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & other business-related systems / dashboards.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
