About the role
As a Mechanic - Workshop with the City of Coffs Harbour youll be responsible for servicing repairing and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles plant and equipment. Youll manage service records monitor asset performance and coordinate warranty claims and insurance documentation. Youll also support efficient workshop operations through inventory control equipment maintenance and adherence to operational plans. Your contribution will play a vital role in reducing downtime extending asset life and enabling the City to deliver essential services to the community.

About you
Youre a qualified Motor Mechanic with proven experience in servicing heavy vehicles earthmoving equipment and construction plant. You hold essential certifications including an MR Licence RTA inspection certificate and White Card and bring additional expertise in welding and fabrication. You consistently deliver safe high-quality work with strong attention to detail while maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
