Job Summary
About the Role
Join a growing Queensland engineering and fabrication company in Hemmant. Were seeking experienced Boilermakers 2nd Class Welders and Welders for workshop and site work.
- Workshop roles: fabrication independent work reading drawings
- Site roles: stainless steel pipework requiring TIG (GTAW) welding plus MIG Stick and Flux Core across multiple metals
- Hours: 810 per day with overtime as required
- High performers may be considered for ongoing work
Skills & Experience
- Boilermakers & Welders: trade-qualified with proven fabrication and welding skills
- 2nd Class Welders: welding tickets or extensive welding experience
- Welders: required TIG experience on stainless steel pipework
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with mild steel structural steel stainless steel and aluminium
- Work independently using hand tools and PPE
- Strong safety awareness and site compliance
Tickets & Licences
- Boilermakers & Welders: Trade Certificate
- 2nd Class Welders: relevant welding tickets (preferred)
- White Card Forklift ticket own transport
- Working at heights ticket preferred
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
