As Junior Marketing & Communications Manager APAC at our Tokyo Office you will execute and support marketing and PR initiatives across Japan and selected APAC markets focused on elevating brand presence and visibility through strategic PR digital content and influencer engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Junior Marketing & Communications Manager APAC you will play a vital role in;

1. PR & Communications

  • Execute PR strategies around store openings new collection launches and key brand moments to generate media and consumer interest.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs influencers stylists and local press in each market.
  • Coordinate with HQ and external PR agencies to manage press releases media kits sample coordination and coverage reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze earned media performance and provide regular reports to regional and global teams.

2. Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead the planning and execution of store opening events product launch activations and brand experiences.
  • Manage venue sourcing guest invitations logistics and on-site execution ensuring consistency with brand image and tone.
  • Work closely with retail and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts into the customer journey.

3. Digital & Influencer Marketing

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to adapt digital content for local use and ensure brand relevance across channels.
  • Identify and manage collaborations with digital influencers and KOLs in line with campaign goals.
  • Track digital activation results and provide recommendations for future improvements.

4. Commercial & Retail Marketing

  • Support retail marketing initiatives including campaign rollouts at department stores shopping malls and pop-up locations.
  • Manage co-op marketing deliverables and asset delivery in collaboration with commercial partners.
  • Help ensure retail visibility and consistency across customer-facing touchpoints.

5. HQ & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as a key contact between the local team and global headquarters (Paris) managing requests related to assets approvals reporting and global campaign alignment.
  • Coordinate with other teams across the Asia region to share best practices and align on key activities.
  • Provide local market insights competitor benchmarks and campaign feedback to HQ.

You will report to Head of Marketing and Communications APAC.

Specific personal qualities for this role:

  • Hands-on experience with store opening campaigns and product launch PR
  • Strong interest in fashion and luxury retail
  • Deep understanding of local media and influencer landscape
  • Strong communication project management and multitasking skills

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

  • 24 years of experience in PR marketing or communications preferably in the luxury fashion or lifestyle sector
  • Fluent in English and business-level in Japanese and Korean
