Job Description
Protech are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our payroll team on a 6-month maximum term contract based from our Mackay office.
This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll function to ensure timely completion of reports and efficient and accurate payroll transactions. The successful applicant is detailed-oriented and thrives working in fast-paced working environment.
Key Details:
- Contract Length:6 months maximum term
- Hours:24 hours per week (flexible scheduling available including school hours)
- Location:On-site in Paget QLD
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Respond to employee payroll queries
- Assist with reporting and reconciliation tasks
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Familiarity with payroll systems and award interpretation
