Come join San Diego Studio making a AAA PC focus is on delivering innovative high quality gaming experiences. We are seeking a Senior PC Graphics Programmer to join our team in advancing the visual and technical quality of a AAA PC this role you will be responsible for developing and optimizing real-time graphics systems specifically for PC ensuring robust performance and high visual fidelity across a wide range of hardware configurations.
You will focus on writing and optimizing our PC engine debugging performance issues implementing new graphics features and ensuring the game takes full advantage of platform specific technologies offered by NVIDIA and AMD.
The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving abilities sharp attention to detail and thrives both independently and in collaborative cross-functional teams. They are passionate about GPU architecture and real-time rendering innovation skilled in profiling and optimizing complex graphics systems and experienced in developing cross-platform graphics features.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science Mathematics or a related technical field. 3 years of experience programming in C with a focus on performance-critical applications. Strong experience with low-level graphics APIs such as DirectX OpenGL or Vulkan. Proficiency in GPU shader programming (compute vertex pixel). Strong foundational math skills (especially linear algebra geometry and trigonometry). Hands-on experience with Visual Studio Perforce and other standard PC development tools. Proven ability to debug and optimize rendering performance across varied PC hardware configurations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with modern graphics features such as ray tracing variable rate shading mesh shaders or similar. Understanding of performance challenges associated with rendering highly detailed scenes and UIs on PC. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python is a plus. Experience working with or developing for MacOS (desired but not required).
