The Digital Analytics and Technology (DAT) Program Management Organization (PMO) is a team of Technical Program Managers (TPM) that operate as a shared service staffed to support technology delivery in DAT. TPMs are responsible for delivering large scale technology delivery programs with multiple workstreams requiring contributions from multiple DAT teams programs with critical timelines or business critical and strategic initiatives. TPMs work across Product Engineering and Experience Design Teams and their Leadership Software Vendors System Integrators Consultants and Business Partners.
This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead large scale technology delivery projects or programs requiring contributions and collaboration from multiple Digital Analytics and Technology product teams
Blend traditional program management principles and practices with an Agile development approach to ensure the appropriate level of planning and monitoring
Drive each applicable stage throughout the program lifecycle requiring cross-team delivery and ensure critical information is shared among applicable team members and stakeholders
Drive trade-offs in decision making to meet commitments and outcomes
Communicate across various levels of stakeholder groups provide actionable updates speak to current risks and issues and provide risk aversion plans
Provide day to day leadership and work direction across the program
Basic Qualifications:
7 or more years of technology project management or delivery management experience.
1 or more years of direct/indirect team management experience.
1 or more years of experience working on or with a technology/software delivery or product team.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without authority
Demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity and change
Strong analytical planning and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in leading programs in software delivery and infrastructure space.
Experience with change management business analysis or process analysis.
