Job Description
Overview
A Senior IT Technical Trainer with an active Secret clearance is needed to plan develop and implement technical product and system training programs for a federal customer. This role is based in Arlington VA and offers remote flexibility.
Responsibilities

Plan develop and deliver technical training programs for customers employees and field support personnel.

Design and deliver standard customized and new product training modules.

Gather information from engineering software product requirements and customer feedback to prepare training programs.

Create lesson plans course content training materials and product demonstrations.

Conduct training sessions lectures workshops and demonstrations.

Evaluate effectiveness of training activities and continuously update lesson plans.

Collaborate with management employees and clients to identify training needs and adapt to policy technology or procedural changes.

Apply ADDIE and other instructional design methodologies to training development.

Monitor training program costs and prepare budget justification reports.
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma with 9 years of training experience (or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles and development of training materials (plans storyboards scripts graphics etc.).

Experience designing and developing computer-based training.

Proficiency with Adobe Captivate and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

Knowledge of training best practices and methodologies (ADDIE).
-
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain DEA Suitability.
