Job Description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Weekend Shift (night): Friday - Sunday 2:30PM - 4AM

What you will do:

As a Production Line Lead you will track progress to manufacturing schedule and take necessary action to ensure supply plan has been met including determining labor requirements and staffing levels daily. As well as the responsibilities listed below:

  • Obtain and execute production schedule
  • Take responsibility for the logistics of daily weekly monthly meetings and present information to team members
  • Escalate issues requiring additional resources to manufacturing leadership
  • Lead problem solving/root cause investigations; implement process and systemic improvements
  • Ensure accountability of associates including training timeliness and adherence to company policies
  • Emphasizing quality importance through production processes
  • Communicate with team members during shift hand-off
  • Collaborate with Supervisor to provide feedback on team members in area of responsibility
  • Perform or assist with in-process quality checks where applicable; communicating with department regarding quality issues as needed
  • Proactively drive to enhance and improve the work environment
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects within area
  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements including weekends

What you need:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School or GED
  • 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment or comparable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Experience operating and setting up machines
  • Associates or Bachelors degree

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work majority of shift standing/walking required
  • Occasional stooping bending and/or reaching may be required
