Job Summary:
The Deputy General Manager (DGM) supports the General Manager in driving strategy operations and business growth. This role oversees daily operations leads cross-functional teams ensures profitability and supports expansion aligned with our clients sustainability and innovation goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support GM in strategy and annual plans.
- Lead operations: production procurement logistics QA and business development.
- Improve supply chain cost control and product innovation.
- Manage teams with leadership and performance coaching.
- Align with sales/marketing to meet market demand.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Drive business development and execute projects.
- Monitor KPIs budgets and financial performance.
- Oversee pricing financial planning and profitability.
- Act as Acting GM when required.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Agribusiness Business Food Science Supply Chain (Masters preferred).
- 5-7 years in agribusiness/food production 3 years in senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of agriculture supply chains and food markets.
- Leadership business acumen problem-solving and stakeholder management.
- English proficiency; knowledge of sustainability and food safety is an advantage.
