seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide software systems. This individual will manage HR Benefits Finance Budget Accounts Payable (AP) and Payroll solutions ensuring successful execution across multiple city departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage software implementation projects of significant scale within city operations.
Oversee HR Benefits Finance Budget AP and Payroll system deployments ensuring alignment with city requirements.
Develop and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process including drafting vendor evaluation and selection.
Organize and build strong cross-departmental project teams across various City divisions.
Ensure projects are completed on time within scope and on budget.
Create and maintain detailed project plans schedules and reports.
Establish effective communication channels between project stakeholders vendors and City leadership.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid project delays.
Provide status updates and presentations to senior leadership and city officials.
Proven experience managing large-scale software implementation projects.
Hands-on background with HR Benefits Finance Budget AP and/or Payroll systems.
Strong knowledge of the RFP process-from development to vendor management.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written).
Ability to work with all levels of City personnel from technical staff to executive leadership.
Highly deadline-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Experience in municipal government or public-sector projects preferred.
