About The Job:
Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for an Account Manager to join their team. Our client is a leading contractor in shell construction for residential home communities known for their strong partnerships with regional and national homebuilders.
In this role the Account Manager serves as the Face of the Company managing customer accounts and overseeing the contracting lifecycle of shell construction projects. This role reports to the Business Development Manager and works closely with the Lead Estimator Senior Area Managers and the President.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships and loyalty.
Coordinate with internal departments to meet customer construction material supply timing and safety needs.
Collaborate with estimators to execute reports and prepare proposals.
Identify and pursue new residential construction opportunities.
Represent the company at builder meetings trade shows and community events.
Attend customer meetings or builder events across SE or SW Florida zones.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
2 years of purchasing experience with a residential home builder or General Contractor.
2 years of construction experience.
2 years of estimating experience in concrete masonry and lumber phases.
Residential production builder experience strongly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Formulas Pivot Tables etc.).
Experience with estimating and project management software preferred.
Valid driver s license.
Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
