Job Training Program Caseworker Pittsburgh PA

Job Training Caseworker Key Performance Objectives Include:
  • Assesses individuals and makes recommendations for entry into the Job Training Program
  • Assists with administering comprehensive assessments for clients entering the Job Training Program to identify strengths and areas of need related to gaining and sustaining employment.
  • Provides case management and service planning to assist clients in the Job Training Program with setting achievable objectives.
  • Assists assigned clients with successfully addressing barriers to employment.
  • Provides or arranges for needed supportive services to fulfill service plan objectives.
  • Documents all interactions with clients service coordination information and goal planning activities in a timely comprehensive and accurate manner to ensure compliance with program standards.
  • Works collaboratively with the Job Training Program Team to develop new approaches to better serve the needs of clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • An associates degree in a human services field or an equivalent field is required.
  • A minimum of one year of social service experience is required. Internship experience is acceptable.
  • A proven ability to interact constructively with community agencies and resources is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Excellent documentation skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Act 33/34 and FBI clearances are required.
