Physiotherapist Orthopaedics

Dunedin Hospital


Permanent Full-Time (1.0 FTE / 80 hours per fortnight)

Are you an experienced physiotherapist with a passion for orthopaedics Dunedin Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic inpatient Allied Health team where your expertise will contribute to high-quality patient outcomes and service innovation.

About the Role

As a key member of our orthopaedic team youll work across acute/trauma and elective surgical specialties in a fast-paced tertiary care environment. Youll be responsible for:

  • Managing and prioritising a diverse inpatient caseload
  • Delivering expert physiotherapy assessment and intervention
  • Collaborating with a committed inter-professional team
  • Providing education and learning opportunities to empower junior staff
  • Mentoring students junior staff and Allied Health Assistants
  • Supporting weekend shifts and participating in the on-call roster
