Counterintelligence (CI) Policy Analyst

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Counterintelligence (CI) Policy Analyst to support critical national security missions. The CI Policy Analyst will provide expert guidance analysis and recommendations on CI policies programs and operations to protect U.S. government personnel facilities and information from espionage and insider threats. This role requires an in-depth understanding of CI criminal investigations counterespionage counterterrorism CI collections and functional services as well as relevant Department of Defense (DoD) and federal CI policies executive orders and laws.
Responsibilities:
Analyze draft review and update CI policy documents directives and standard operating procedures in accordance with DoD and federal regulations.
Advise senior leadership on the implications of CI policies laws and executive orders.
Assess and recommend improvements to CI programs and procedures across investigations operations and functional services.
Provide subject matter expertise on CI criminal investigations counterespionage counterterrorism operations CI collections and functional services.
Conduct in-depth research on emerging CI threats and trends to inform policy and operational decisions.
Support the development and implementation of training awareness and compliance programs related to CI.
Coordinate with interagency and DoD partners to ensure alignment of CI efforts and policy adherence.
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelors degree in National Security Intelligence Studies Criminal Justice or a related field. (Advanced degree preferred.)
Minimum 10 years of experience in:
CI criminal investigations (DoD experience preferred)
counterespionage and counterterrorism operations
CI collections and functional services
and applying associated DoD CI policies executive orders and federal laws.
Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. CI policy frameworks and the intelligence community.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior leaders effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
DoD or military CI experience.
Experience working with interagency CI or law enforcement organizations.
Familiarity with insider threat programs and security policy development.
Work Environment:
May require occasional travel.
Work is performed in a secure classified office setting.
