The Healthy Homes Unit oversees operationalizing environmental hazard compliance efforts. The Office of Mold Assessment and Remediation is responsible for managing mold assessment and remediation contracts ventilation modernization contracts performance management providing quality assurance and technical assistance to support Public Housing Operations for mold remediation at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). NYCHA is the nations largest public housing provider and is home to more than 400000 residents across New Yorks 5 boroughs.
The Court Case Coordinator Supervisor will be a member of the Mold Remediation Unit of the Office of Mold Assessment and Remediation collaborating with NYCHAs legal team on sensitive court cases involving needed repairs. The Court Case Coordinator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of 10 Court Case Coordinators providing training and guidance in case managing coordinating facilitating and streamlining court-ordered repairs. The Court Case Coordinator Supervisor will be expected to independently conduct unit history reports monitor workflow progress to ensure repairs are completed promptly identify and communicate roadblocks liaise with Property Management staff provide routine updates to legal and communicate with residents throughout the repair process.
The responsibilities of the Court Case Coordinator will include but are not limited to the following:
and support a team of 10 Court Case Coordinators.
training for new hires.
to various NYCHA departments during project rollout.
in project planning.
and implement procedural changes.
team performance and provide feedback.
-manage sensitive court cases.
as a follow-up function to assist NYCHAs legal team on court cases with property management staff.

unit history reports in Maximo and Tableau.
and communicate with various NYCHA departments to ensure court cases are progressing promptly.
-up with Legal in real time if anything on the stipulation is unclear.
resident communication.
efforts and updates on the Zendesk platform.
periodic site visits to developments.
delays and any discoveries that may cause potential delays in real time.

Qualifications :
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 or 2 above. However all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in 1 above.
