Job Description
This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- 20 hours per week minimum
- Flexible schedule
- Client Timezone: Pacific Standard Time (PST)
This is an exciting opportunity to blend creativity with digital marketing in the photography industry. Youll be the driving force behind maintaining and expanding the social media presence for a successful photography business working with stunning visual content daily. The role combines social media management creative content creation and photo editing support offering variety and growth potential. Youll play a crucial part in generating leads and building brand awareness while learning valuable skills in photography digital marketing and customer engagement. This position offers the perfect blend of creative work and business development with comprehensive training provided and room for role expansion as the business grows.
Responsibilities
- Create and curate aesthetic Instagram feeds using beautiful wedding and family photography content
- Write compelling captions and research strategic hashtags to drive lead generation and engagement
- Develop and manage Pinterest strategy to expand the businesss digital footprint
- Plan future expansion to TikTok and Threads platforms as the business grows
- Design social media content for an additional company account using Canva and graphic design tools
- Assist with photo editing by applying presets and techniques to large batches of photos following provided style guides
- Handle initial customer inquiries through email and direct messages responding to package and pricing questions
- Engage with followers and manage community interactions across all social platforms
- Provide general administrative and operational support to streamline business processesMaintain brand consistency and aesthetic standards

- Proven experience in social media management with strong Instagram expertise
- Proficiency in design tools particularly Canva for creating engaging visual content
- Basic photo editing skills with enthusiasm to learn advanced techniques and workflows
- Excellent written communication skills for crafting captions and customer responses
- Customer service experience for handling lead inquiries and maintaining professional relationships
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent brand aesthetics
- Genuine interest in photography creative industries and visual storytelling
- Openness to comprehensive training and continuous skill development
