Job Description

Role: HR Associate Consultant Mumbai
Experience: 2-3 years
Salary: Upto 5.5 LPA
Job Type: This is a 6-month consultant role with a potential 6-month extension based on performance.

Role Overview:

As an HR Associate youll be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for an allocated intervention managing all pre- and post-joining formalities documentation and communication. Youll also oversee the complete employee life cycle including onboarding probation confirmation engagement grievance handling and exit formalities. The goal is to ensure effective employee relations and smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete recruitment process ensuring a smooth employee experience and timely completion of all procedures.

  • Coordinate participation in HR initiatives like annual appraisals probation confirmations/extensions and training nominations.

  • Handle employee documentation including preparing and distributing letters (e.g. appointment confirmation) and maintaining proper records.

  • Address and resolve employee questions and grievances by coordinating with senior staff and peers.

  • Organize and schedule exit interviews to ensure the proper closure of employee life cycle processes.

  • Coordinate timely induction and onboarding for new employees.

  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers to provide accurate status reports.

  • Support HR projects initiatives and campus recruitment as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) in Management is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in recruitment is required. Experience in an Education-based NGO or the Development Sector is preferred.

Skills:

Recruitment: Sourcing screening coordinating interviews and onboarding.

Employee Relations: Handling queries grievances and communication.

Technical: Proficiency in MS-Word MS-Excel and basic PowerPoint skills is required and familiarity with HRMS software is preferred.

Other: Strong communication skills (verbal and written) high attention to detail good analytical skills and a collaborative mindset
