Job Summary

General Manager - Mumbai

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As the General Manager you will be responsible for establishing and managing our companys operations in India with a focus on IT consultancy and web development services. Your primary duties will include overseeing the companys registration GST compliance office setup staff recruitment and day-to-day office management. Additionally you will play a key role in delivering services to our European clients and ensuring the successful growth of our business in the Indian market.

Responsibilities:

Lead the establishment of the company in India including registration GST compliance and other legal requirements.
Identify and secure an office space that meets the companys operational needs and budget.
Recruit onboard and manage a team of skilled professionals to support the companys operations.
Oversee day-to-day office management including administrative tasks facilities and vendor management.
Collaborate with the European team to deliver high-quality IT consultancy and web development services to our clients.
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expand our client base in India.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role preferably in the IT consultancy or web development industry.

Strong understanding of Indian business regulations including company registration and GST compliance.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with international teams and clients.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelors degree in business management or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
Familiarity with the European market and business practices is desirable.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
