Job Description
General Manager - Mumbai
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team in Mumbai. As the General Manager you will be responsible for establishing and managing our companys operations in India with a focus on IT consultancy and web development services. Your primary duties will include overseeing the companys registration GST compliance office setup staff recruitment and day-to-day office management. Additionally you will play a key role in delivering services to our European clients and ensuring the successful growth of our business in the Indian market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of the company in India including registration GST compliance and other legal requirements.
- Identify and secure an office space that meets the companys operational needs and budget.
- Recruit onboard and manage a team of skilled professionals to support the companys operations.
- Oversee day-to-day office management including administrative tasks facilities and vendor management.
- Collaborate with the European team to deliver high-quality IT consultancy and web development services to our clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expand our client base in India.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role preferably in the IT consultancy or web development industry.
- Strong understanding of Indian business regulations including company registration and GST compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with international teams and clients.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelors degree in business management or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with the European market and business practices is desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
