Job Description
We are hiring a Design Manager/ TeamLead Aluminum Category Design for our client a leader in the fenestration industry. The role involves spearheading product design & development Innovation andstrategyfor aluminum doors and windows leading a design team and ensuring compliance with building codes & industry standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in CAD prototyping PLM and aluminum systems design with a proven track record in the building materials or architectural systems industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead product design and development for aluminum doors windows and building systems.
Drive design innovation and ensure alignment with market research and customer feedback.
Oversee CAD design prototyping and product lifecycle management (PLM).
Implement value engineering and cost optimization without compromising aesthetics or quality.
Ensure quality assurance and compliance with building codes & design standards.
Manage vendors suppliers and contractors for material sourcing and design execution.
Provide leadership mentoring and skill development for the design team.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors / Masters in Industrial Design BE/
Experience: 1015 years (in Product Design / Aluminum Systems / Fenestration /Proven expertise in aluminum product design fenestration or architectural systems.
Strong proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD SolidWorks etc.) and prototyping.
Experience with PLM tools material knowledge aluminum and building regulations.
Leadership skills with the ability to drive innovation collaboration and market-focused design.
