What you will do
- You will develop high-quality technical documentation including user documentation API documentation release notes and troubleshooting topics reporting to the VP Product Management Platform Services & Monitor.
- You will work with different teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- You will translate complex technical concepts into clear and accessible content for a range of audiences including developers system administrators and security professionals.
- You will participate in product planning and design discussions to advocate for documentation best practices and ensure documentation requirements are considered early in the development process.
- You will improve documentation processes to refine content creation review and publication workflows.
- You will stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical writing documentation tools and information architecture.
What you will bring with you
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Technical Communication English or related field.
- 5 years of experience in technical writing preferably in the software industry.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as Markdown and version control systems (GitHub).
- Experience with the docs-as-code workflow.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (such as GCP AWS and Azure) and containerization technologies (such as Docker Kubernetes).
- Use AI/ML tools
- Familiarity with CSS and Python scripting would be a plus
