Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative Technical Architect to spearhead the integration of Generative AI into our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
This individual will serve as the go-to expert in revolutionizing how software is built-enhancing productivity automating development tasks and enabling next-generation software engineering through AI-driven solutions.
The role is dual-facing involving both internal capability enhancement and external client advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and Build Gen AI Driven SDLC
Design and implement a next-generation software development framework embedding Gen AI across the SDLC-from requirements and design to coding testing and deployment.
Identify automation and augmentation opportunities to accelerate engineering outcomes.
2. Team Enablement and Collaboration
Partner with internal project teams to identify Gen AI integration points within workflows.
Conduct enablement sessions training and ongoing guidance to drive adoption and productivity gains.
3. Develop Custom AI Tooling
Build and deploy AI-powered tools to automate key SDLC tasks.
Implement Large Language Model (LLM) solutions Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and intelligent AI agents to streamline operations and knowledge management.
4. Fine-Tune Open-Source LLMs (Good to have)
Customize and fine-tune open-source LLMs using internal codebases and domain-specific datasets.
Develop specialized models tailored to unique business or engineering contexts.
5. Drive Continuous Innovation
Stay at the forefront of Gen AI advancements evaluating emerging tools frameworks and techniques.
Recommend and implement innovations that enhance engineering efficiency and software quality.
6. Client Consulting & Advisory
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for external customers.
Provide strategic consulting technical assessments and thought leadership on AI-driven SDLC transformation.
7. Customer Adoption & Enablement
Collaborate directly with clients to co-design AI adoption roadmaps.
Lead workshops proofs of concept (POCs) and implementation sessions guiding engineering teams through their AI journey.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8 12 years of software development experience including Technical Lead/Architect or equivalent senior engineering roles.
Proven expertise in designing and architecting large-scale enterprise systems from the ground up.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies LLMs (GPT Claude Llama Mistral) vector databases and embedding models.
Demonstrated ability in building and deploying RAG architectures.
Experience in fine-tuning open-source LLMs (preferred).
Proficiency in AI agent and automation framework development (e.g. LangChain or similar).
Strong grasp of the SDLC DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Prior customer-facing technical experience (Solutions Architect Pre-Sales Engineer or Consultant) is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving communication and presentation skills.
Ability to simplify complex concepts and influence technical and business stakeholders.
