Job Description

Our client is a well-established Institution of Higher Learning. As part of its expansionary
plan it is seeking to employ an experienced professional to join them as
Deputy Director (Planning & Rewards) (Ref: KHXXX)

Overview
This role is responsible for carrying out daily Compensation & Benefits operations of the
organisation aswell as other ad-hoc projects and duties.

The Job
Lead the Compensation and Benefits (C & B) programs in accordance with
established policies principles and guidelines.
Ensure C & B standards comply with company policies regulations and
legislations.
Collaborate with Divisional Heads to develop specific compensation plans and
other C & B initiatives to support the achievement of organisational goals.
Participate in C & B processes including appraisals to support salary increases
promotions and bonus payments and assist in reviews of annual salary structures

Implement staff benefits programmes annual insurance renewals and medical
benefits etc
Analyse C & B market surveys benchmark best C & B practices fine-tune
existing HR-related systems and propose new initiatives
Provide feasibility studies and project plans drive for excellent execution of
projects and focus on continuous improvement
Conduct job analysis and evaluation
Implement annual manpower planning strategies formulation and management
of policies to attract and retain human capital
Responsible for managing related HR systems pertaining to rewards benefits
payroll and manpower planning from end to end including managing the roll out
of system projects and enhancements systems operations as well as partnering
with both internal stakeholders and external outsourced vendors to achieve
efficient operations and optimal end-user experience
Secretariat to Board Committee on Annual Remuneration framework proposals
and ability to write succinctly is critical



The Candidate
At least a Degree in any discipline.
At least 10 years experience in a leadership role specialising in C&B portfolio.
Prior experience in HRIS implementation (SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus.
Good understanding of key HR processes.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to effectively
communicate present and discuss analysis to effectively drive fact-based
decision-making across all levels of the organization.
Resilience with the ability to multi-task is critical.
