Site Overview:
For more than 40 years our advanced facilities in Singapore have led aerospace innovation across Asia Pacific. From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies robotics and additive manufacturing GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).
GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
Role Overview:
Our suppliers are using different ERP system to generate reports and thus information come in different format. Currently this information is manually stitched for data reconciliation to a required format to our customer.
Understand the component repair ecosystem data from supplier and how each information translates to an appropriate information required by our customer.
Lead cross functional discussion with internal (customer service IT etc.) and external (supplier) to implement automation solution.
Outcome will be goaled towards improving customer satisfaction with timely and accurate updates.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a full-time student and has a can-do attitude who is keen to learn and gain valuable experiences in the aerospace supply chain.
Interns must be able to commit to a 20-24 week internship at minimum to ensure they have sufficient time and opportunity to learn from their internship projects
Required Qualifications:
Self-starter ability to work in ambiguous environments and excellent communication skills. Able to commit to a minimum 6 months of internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree & Diploma in Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management / Logistics / Project Management
