Job Description
- Shadow project managers on their daily routines to gain exposure to engineering architecture design and overall office components as they pertain to project management.
- Assist project managers with planning executing and completing construction projects on time and within budget while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Learn about how project managers oversee the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction planning to project closeout.
- Developing and managing project schedules budgets and resource allocation.
- Managing project documentation permits and regulatory compliance.
- Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues with a project manager.
- Ensuring the safety of all personnel on the construction site.
- Listen to communications with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
- Watch how complete estimates and establish subcontractor scopes are made.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks including preparation of project documentation and material management of project supplies.
