Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Creating and executing content marketing strategies and plans analyzing data and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with various cross-functional teams such as BU sales digital marketing and customer support to create and deliver engaging content
- Research speaking and editorial engagements for the thought leaders of the company as well as identifying awards opportunities
- Orchestrate multichannel campaigns leveraging channels and tactics such as digital social media web media PR virtual and in-person events and email
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of search engine optimization and marketing.
- Creating a social media presence and engagement strategy.
- Writing engaging and persuasive copy for a variety of channels.
- Analyzing data to measure success and inform future strategy.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams and projects.
- Developing and maintaining brand identity and messaging.
- Creating high-quality content that is relevant and engaging.
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Developing new and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
Skills
- Knowledge of the Optical Communications Industry - Telecom: business dynamics main players main events and dedicated media
- Strong writing skills
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Experience in content strategy planning
- Ability to analyze data and report on performance
- Understanding of content distribution channels
- Expertise in email marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Ability to develop creative content ideas
- Experience with A/B testing
- Understanding of web analytics tools
- Familiarity with AI tools
Working Conditions
- This position is onsite / hybrid
- May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
- Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
- May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executives needs
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
Safety Requirements
