We are currently looking for a Configurator Content Engineer to join our Modularization and Deployment team within the Development Center Distribution. What will you be doing

As a Configurator Content Engineer you will play a critical role in designing and programming the building blocks used to create our logistics systems. These 3D building blocks are essential components of Vanderlandes Engineering Suite of Tools (ESoT) which automates the design and configuration of our systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining 3D models and content for use in various projects.
  • Programming the application rules for these models to ensure accurate efficient Configure-To-Order (CTO) processes.
  • Working with a data model that connects engineering disciplines making it easier to generate precise data for projects.
  • Collaborating with a Configurator Content Lead to build and refine these building blocks.
  • Updating our sales and engineering standards in a three months release cycle and ensuring that new developments are introduced to the global project organization.
  • Ensuring the organization is ready for major new developments by preparing training materials and documentation.

Youll also have the opportunity to be involved in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing our competitive edge particularly in the area of Configure To Order and platforming.

What do we ask from you

We are looking for someone with a mix of technical knowledge and programming skills. Specifically you should have:

  • A degree in mechatronics IT controls or a similar technical field (HBO/Bachelors or MBO).
  • Experience in an industrial environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with XML programming is preferred.
  • A strong focus on standardization and modular design.
  • A good command of English.
  • An eagerness to learn collaborate and work in a process-driven environment.
