This role will lead the development of wellness innovation & pipeline strategy;
Lead the team to drive NPI deliver on time with consumer-centric superiority and SMART commercial proposition.
This role will be the leading connection to communicate and influence both internal/external stake holders and closely work with brand marketing team to strategize and deliver innovation targets.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Key contact with stakeholders and brand team to plan for Caltrate and Centrum pipeline
Owner of innovation strategy innovation pipeline and line extension strategy of Caltrate and Centrum
Owner for lead consumer segmentation priority & insights for NPI idea generation consumer validation NPD governance until product readiness for launch
Owner of innovation gate documents/gate meetings/ways of working set up with brand team Liaise with industry expert stakeholders to co-create roadmap/new health concept for breakthrough innovation
Responsible for developing all NPD across on-line/offline channels for Wellness
Lead Wellness Innovation team with effective capability building and coach
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree and above in Marketing/Management/Business Administration or related fields MBA preferred. At least 12 years of working experience
Direct experience in FMCG marketing is preferred
Leadership experience of medium size team.
Extensive experience in matrix organization is a plus
Experience of working with global/regional team with multiple geographies exposure.
Solid nutrition industry NPD experience/networking Ideally having experience of both upstream brand development and in-market brand activation.
Brand development includes consumer insight discovering initiating strategies and product mix- responsible for near long 3-5yr sustainable brand growth.
Need skillful digesting of different research reports and creative thinking to translate insight into commercial actions.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Fluent in English writing verbal and presentation.
Good learning agility with proven record in commercial problem solving and crisis or change management.
Marketing expertise in strong business acumen is fundamental. Marketing with strong innovation experience is preferred.
Financial planning capability strong leadership capabilities and strategical thinking capabilities is strongly preferred
