Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan inspection programs and adhere to quality control requirements.
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO quality management system requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform daily track inspections with clients and the construction team.
- Develop and deliver training programs on ISO quality management system.
- Review materials for any physical damage and ensure there is proper traceability to FATs (Factory Acceptance Test)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with LTA SMRT and supplier to carry out material inspection
- Prepare daily submission of reports and rejection reports.
- Ensured all equipment and tools used are calibrated regularly
- Prepared concrete-related reports for submission to LTA
- Inspected concrete sleepers laying and also checked if there is any hogging or sagging in the sleepers
- Trained supervisors to carry out NDT tests on rail welds and closely monitor the test results
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering roles with ISO standards.
- Strong knowledge of ISO quality management systems and associated standards (ISO 9001 ISO 14001 ISO 18000).
- Experience in railway projects is highly desirable.
