Job Description

Learning & Development Advisor

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Southern Water so were on the lookout for a Learning & Development Advisor someone who is enthusiastic proactive and has a passion for all things learning.

Based in our Head Office in Durrington youll be working across the Southern Water region to support our people in the field our depots and offices. You will be responsible for designing delivering and evaluating a variety of L&D programmes. This could be helping our frontline teams deliver brilliant customer service developing our leaders and managers or supporting our newest team members during their onboarding.

Position: Learning & Development Advisor

Location Durrington (Worthing West Sussex)

Job Type: Permanent full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

Salary: 30000 - 34000 per annum depending upon experience

About the Role:

As our Learning & Development Advisor you will:

  • Work with stakeholders to identify needs and skill gaps that drive performance.
  • Design and deliver engaging learning solutions from digital and blended programmes to face-to-face workshops.
  • Facilitate training that inspires motivates and supports learners of all levels.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve learning initiatives to ensure real impact.
  • Build strong relationships across the business and with our client offering trusted advice and guidance on development.
  • Collaborate with your L&D colleagues to deliver on team and organisational goals.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Passionate about learning and development and keeps up to date with innovations and trends.
  • Preferably CIPD Level 3 (or is working towards or willing to)
  • Great at communicating at various levels both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to create learning content whether that be in person material e-learning digital video audio etc.
  • Experience of delivering in person / virtual learning sessions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships using your interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence as this role involves travelling across the Southern Water region
