Were looking for a proactive and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to fuel our pipeline by generating and qualifying new leads. Your role begins at the very top of the sales funnel focusing entirely on outbound outreach not closing deals.
The role involves working closely with prospects and clients particularly in areas like Grants Capital Allowance Energy Tax Relief R&D tax credits and Patent Box schemes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively identify contact and qualify potential leads through cold calls emails and LinkedIn outreach.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline ensuring all leads are nurtured and moved toward closure.
- Conduct high-quality discovery conversations to assess fit and qualify leads
- Confidently present innovation funding solutions highlighting the value and benefits of tax relief services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients for ongoing engagement and cross-sell opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends tax legislation changes and innovations in grants and R&D funding to engage effectively.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities prospects and pipeline progress to the VP of Operations and the Business Development team.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development Directors and teams to create and execute targeted sales campaigns.
Experience in at least one of the following areas is preferable:
- Grants
- Capital Allowance
- Energy Tax Relief
- R&D Tax Credits
- Patent Box
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent with 1-3 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience required.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook CRM and Internet research.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Limited supervisory responsibilities including team training and development in line with company policies and regulations
