Raw Mat/Finished Goods Planner (Material Management Executive) - Your future position
As a Material Management Executive at Givaudan you will support the daily functions within Givaudan Supply Chain Management Team.
Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager
Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for Customer & Affiliate order demand and commit based on material availability to meet service delivery.
- Release of Process Order and release PO Schedules with close collaboration in the detailed schedule review with Production Planner ensuring it meets all Orders deadline.
- Manage daily raw material replenishment to support Customer orders and forecast review and expedite raw material to support demand surges.
- Reduce and escalate issues related to orders working with production customer care and regional affiliates.
- Collaborate with Demand Planner and Customer care on Forecasting gaps so as to make Customer feel valued with order support.
- Close collaboration and communication with stakeholders eg. Manufacturing Quality and Distribution regarding fulfilment of expedites.
- Work with Quality and Procurement Team to de-risk supply chain (Raw material / Packaging issues.
- Navigate unexpected Supply Changes and keep Operations on track.
- Balance cost-effective inventory levels with meeting Customer demand and ensure optimum inventory to meet Management Target at Month end and Year end.
- Implement Best practice (e.g. Reduce slow mover and Obsolete due to business loss/change)
- Review plan and implement phase in and phase out on raw material and formula change.
- Responsible in Supply Chain Planning with Finished Goods Planning and Raw Material Planning scope and perform any ad-hoc projects as part of Continuous Improvement initiative.
Main Responsibilities
- Bachelors degree in business management logistics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working in logistics or supply chain management. However fresh graduates are welcome to apply too.
- Detailed knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
