Assistant Manager ()
The School of Creative Arts (SCA) comprised of three well-established academic units: the Academy of Film the Academy of Music and the Academy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1 2022 SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies.
The School is now seeking a high-calibre dedicated mature and self-motivated individual to join the Deans Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of functions in undergraduate programmes in the School including administration of academic programmes admission academic advising reports compilation quality assurance student scholarship / award and student affairs;
- Oversee the daily operation of the transdisciplinary programmes and Transdisciplinary Second Majors;
- Plan and support student recruitment admission and marketing;
- Plan and organise student events and co-curricular activities;
- Provide committee services; and
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A good honours degree with at least 5 years of relevant and solid work experience preferably in higher education institutions. Prior experience in program administration is strongly preferred. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); excellent organisational interpersonal and problem-solving skills; attentive to details and strong analytical skills; a strong sense of responsibility with demonstrated maturity; being self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team; ability to multi-task under tight timelines; and good computer skills with sound knowledge in MS Office are required.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
