Retained Controller Midwest Community Bank
Our Midwest client is continuing to grow and increase their accounting talent. Our client has surpassed $ 2B in assets and is poised for additional growth and expansion with a very clear focus on culture and customer service across all business units. Were looking for an individual with strong financial management experience and a big picture focus accompanied by strong analytical skills.
The Controller will oversee all accounting and external financial reporting functions for a publicly traded bank with approximately $2 billion in assets. This role is highly focused on ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP SEC reporting requirements and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control standards. The Controller will manage quarterly and annual filings maintain robust financial controls oversee the budgeting process and support investor and board reporting. This position requires deep technical expertise in public company reporting regulatory compliance and the banking industry.
Our candidate of choice has ten years experience in an accounting leadership role in a bank with at least $1B in assets. Our new Controller will work closely with the CFO and the accounting team.
