Job Description

A young and research intensive Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU Singapore) has 33500 undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering computing business science humanities arts social sciences education and medicine. NTU is ranked among the worlds top universities. NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) is the focal point of entrepreneurship education within the University and the region. The manager Postgraduate Programme (PG) plays a critical role in nurturing leaders in entrepreneurship ecosystem as well as in supporting the national agenda of lifelong learning. This role will manage drive business development of MSc TIP and FM TIP and promote the entrepreneurship education in Singapore and in the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee Academic Matters to ensure quality of course content and delivery

    • Identify and engage suitable professors instructors mentors and industry partners

    • Facilitate curriculum review as and when necessary

    • Analyse participants feedback implement and propose effective solutions

  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

    • Develop refine and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline programme operations

    • Ensure Compliance with governing policies and procedures

  • Oversee the business development and marketing Initiative

    • Oversee marketing outreach to increase the enrolment of quality and diverse students

    • Ensure rigorous quality control during admission and uphold programmes reputation and branding

  • Drive ecosystem development and event management

    • Seek opportunities and collaborate with strategic partners to expand and enrich learning

    • Extend industry connections and inter-department collaboration for internship placements.

  • Plan budget and expenditure and report on performance

    • Plan annual budget and expenditure and track business performance to ensure a healthy stream of revenue and profits

  • Student and Alumni engagement

    • Organize student and alumni events to strengthen the network and engagement

    • Conduct survey to evaluate and analyze programme impact

    • Promote Alumni stories and entrepreneurship spirit

Requirements:

  • A Degree in business or entrepreneurship from a recognised university.

  • Experience working with IHL education institutions or relevant ecosystem in running academic and experiential programmes.

  • Relevant business development or marketing experience.

  • At least 10 years experience leading academic or experiential programmes in Institute of Higher Learning or equivalent.

  • At least 10 years experience leading a team.

  • Good writing and communication skills.

  • Good presentation skill.

  • Possess a good network consisting of entrepreneurs intrapreneurs and industry partners.

  • A good planner who is meticulous with processes and sensitive towards compliance with policies and procedures.
