Job Description

  • Objective:

  • As a critical enabler of Haleons China offline sales growth strategy responsible for architecting and executing market-entry roadmaps that directly influence competitive positioning and revenue scalability.
  • By designing data-driven RTM strategies (distributor networks geographic expansion O2O integration) this role bridges market complexities with corporate priorities ensuring Haleons offline penetration aligns with long-term ambitions in lower-tier cities and evolving pharmacy/medical channels.
  • It drives cross-functional collaboration to optimize resource allocation mitigate regulatory risks and build a resilient future-focused distribution infrastructure.
  • The roles strategic impact is measured through accelerated market share gains sustainable P&L growth and enterprise-wide agility in responding to Chinas fragmented yet high-growth retail landscape

  • Key Responsibilities

  • RTM Strategy Development: Design and implement Chinas route-to-market (RTM) strategy through market research distributor selection (T1/T2/T3) and trade route optimization for pharmacy/medical channels adjusting plans to align with business needs.
  • Sales Productivity Analysis: Evaluate salesforce efficiency distributor performance and O2O coverage to identify gaps improve call effectiveness and optimize resource allocation across channels
  • Digital & B2B Innovation: Pilot digital tools and B2B models to enhance store visit efficiency perfect store rates and capture emerging industry trends.
  • T3 & Below Cities Expansion: Collaborate with Strategy teams and external agencies to craft RTM strategies for untapped lower-tier markets driving Haleons 2026-2030 growth acceleration plan.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Sales Strategy and external stakeholders to align RTM adjustments geographic expansion and productivity initiatives with business targets.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelors degree

  • 10 years sales and trade marketing experience in healthcare MNC preferably in a similar leadership role.
