THE ROLE
This is a critical Utilities senior leadership team (SLT) role responsible for the leadership growth and operational oversight of single Water contracts project or joint venture with revenue between $20M to $80M.
Within its scope of operational oversight the role is accountable for
- Project Leadership & Governance Oversee project setup execution and governance compliance while ensuring timely reporting on performance.
- Team Management & Communication Provide leadership guidance and support to direct reports across multiple departments to maintain collaboration and efficiency.
- Zero Harm & Compliance Champion safety quality and environmental standards ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
- Financial & Cost Management Monitor project costs forecasts and budgets taking corrective action to maintain financial targets and business objectives.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong client relationships negotiate work contracts and develop business growth opportunities.
- People & Culture Development Lead resource planning performance management and succession planning to foster a skilled and engaged workforce.
ABOUT YOU
- Construction D&B experience is essential
- 15 years experience in the engineering and/or construction industry preferably with D&B experience
- Extensive experience in a similar position managing Water / Infrastructure Projects
- Solid understanding and demonstration of successful Project Directorship and Project Management skills
- Management experience (general and operational) with capability to develop strategic / business / project plans and delivery responsibility
- A good understanding of and experience with the business challenges impacting upon business in different life cycles (e.g. expanding mature declining or new market)
- Experience in researching analysing and understanding complex information to develop and implement business solutions
