A well-established metal and engineering specialist serving the industrial sector is currently seeking an HR Officer to join their team.
Manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple functions including recruitment onboarding and offboarding.
Administer payroll using Sage Cloud-based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.
Coordinate MIBFA (Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators) and MEIBC (Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council) compliance and benefits administration.
Support employee relations performance management leave and absence tracking and general HR administration.
Facilitate psychometric assessments as part of candidate screening and employee development.
Maintain accurate HR records and generate relevant reports.
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Business or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of solid generalist HR experience.
Prior experience within the metal or engineering industry is essential.
Experience with MIBFA and MEIBC benefits and bargaining council processes essential.
Proficiency with Sage Cloud-based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.
Comfortable facilitating and interpreting psychometric assessments.
