Locum Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Critical Care
Join a dedicated team at a premier critical care facility in Warren Ohio providing essential services to adult and geriatric patients. This opportunity involves working in an environment that prioritizes patient care and collaboration among healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care coverage and rounding on ICU patients.
- Manage an average of 12-20 patients per day.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and integration into workflows.
- Perform essential procedures including central lines and arterial lines; dialysis catheters and intubations are strongly encouraged.
- Work autonomously with a supervising physician available on call for support.
- Participate in patient management and address any urgent medical needs.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Acute Care (Required)
- Ohio License (Preferred; willing to accept providers needing to obtain license)
- BLS and ACLS Certified (Required)
- Availability to cover all designated dates preferred
- Flu vaccine required at time of credentialing
- COVID vaccine preferred
- DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in an Acute Care specialty
- Current Ohio State license (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
