Job Description
Job Title: Locum NP/PA - Cardiovascular
Join our team at a premier medical center in Mechanicsville Virginia providing exceptional cardiovascular care!
This temporary NP/PA role is set to start on September 15 2025 to cover for maternity leave in a dynamic office-clinic/outpatient/hospital-based setting. Work alongside an experienced team including physicians nurses and administrative support all committed to delivering outstanding care to adult and geriatric patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage outpatient clinic patients and provide follow-up care.
- Conduct inpatient rounding to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Participate in call rotation as determined by the APP team.
- Adhere to documentation protocols using the EPIC EMR system.
- Collaborate with surgical schedulers and other ancillary staff for seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in one of the following: AGACNP - BC ACNPC-BC AGPCNP-BC ACNPC-AG.
- Active Pennsylvania license and DEA.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Local provider with prior experience; no new graduates will be accepted.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Virginia license is a must; no exceptions will be made.
- Board certification is required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory for all candidates.
