Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Neonatologist in Appleton WI
Pediatrix Medical Group is expanding its Neonatology services in Appleton Wisconsin! This is an exciting career opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our brand new practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide family-centered quality healthcare in the newborn nursery.
- Join a team of 4 Neonatologists covering a Level 3 NICU and Newborn Nursery.
- Schedule includes 24/7 in-house coverage and day rounding.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and clinical research projects.
- Engage with several thousand Pediatrix providers to exchange best practices and ideas.
- Open to board-certified/eligible Neonatologists including experienced providers and newly-graduated fellows.
- Note: Not accepting Locums candidates.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Wisconsin medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Completion of a Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine prior to starting.
- DEA license to be obtained prior to starting.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start).
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Wisconsin license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
