Job Description
Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Join a dynamic team in Danville Virginia where we are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner experienced in Urgent Care and Occupational Health. This Urgent Care clinic offers a supportive practice environment with a focus on patient-centered care. Providers will be credentialed at multiple sites ensuring flexibility in meeting emergent needs. Enjoy working autonomously while having access to a supervising physician via phone for guidance as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide episodic care and injury treatment to patients across various age demographics including adolescents children adults and geriatrics.
- Document patient interactions using the Anthem EMR system.
- Work a minimum of 36 hours each week including rotating weekends.
- Collaborate with a supervising physician available for consultations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (ANCC AANP) - REQUIRED
- Active Virginia license - REQUIRED
- BLS certification - REQUIRED
- Local candidates preferred - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in Nursing
- Active Virginia RN License
- BLS Certification
