Job Description
Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Join a dynamic team in Charlottesville VA at an urgent care clinic that also provides occupational health services. This facility supports a diverse patient demographic including adolescents children adults and geriatrics. The practice offers an innovative documentation system ensuring smooth operation in a fast-paced environment. Work autonomously with a supervising physician available via phone for guidance and support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide episodic care and treatment for injuries.
- Manage a diverse patient population across multiple locations.
- Coordinate patient care effectively with the supervising physician.
- Document all patient interactions using the Anthem EMR system.
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP).
- Active Virginia license.
- BLS certification.
- Local providers only.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 36 hours per week (3x12s).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner license REQUIRED
- Board Certification (ANCC AANP) REQUIRED
- BLS Certification REQUIRED
