Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care in a busy Urgent Care setting that also focuses on Occupational Health. Providers will be credentialed across multiple sites to ensure flexibility for emergent needs. The facility values collaboration with a supervising physician available via phone allowing for a supportive working environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide episodic care and treatment for injuries.
- Serve a diverse patient demographic including adolescents children adults and geriatrics.
- Document patient interactions using the Anthem EMR system.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with a supervising physician.
- Maintain comprehensive care as needed during physician consultation.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified by ANCC or AANP.
- Active Virginia license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Local providers are preferred.
- Minimum commitment of 36 hours per week including rotating weekends.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification (REQUIRED).
- Active Virginia license (REQUIRED).
- BLS Certification (REQUIRED).
- DEA Certification (preferred).
