Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care in Staunton VA
Join a dynamic healthcare practice in the heart of Staunton Virginia! Our urgent care clinic is actively seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner with experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health. The clinic offers a supportive environment and is well-equipped to manage a diverse patient demographic including adolescents children adults and geriatrics. Collaborate with a dedicated team while providing episodic care and injury treatment to the community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality episodic care and treatment for a range of urgent health issues.
- Collaborate with the supervising physician available via phone for consultation.
- Document patient interactions using the Anthem EMR system.
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting.
- Manage both occupational health and urgent care responsibilities.
- Engage with diverse patient populations across various age groups.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC AANP) - REQUIRED
- Active Virginia medical license - REQUIRED
- BLS certification - REQUIRED
- Local candidates preferred - REQUIRED
- Minimum commitment of 36 hours (3x12s) weekly with rotating weekends - REQUIRED
- Must be able to work within the established hourly rate cap - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Virginia NP license
- BLS Certification
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
