Job Description
Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Join a dedicated team at an Urgent Care clinic in Martinsville Virginia a community-focused facility that also offers Occupational Health services. This position provides an opportunity to work autonomously alongside a supervising physician available for support. Ideal for NPs experienced in urgent care youll be providing episodic care to a diverse patient demographic from adolescents to geriatrics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care and occupational health services.
- Assess diagnose and treat patients across various age groups.
- Utilize the Anthem documentation system/EMR.
- Work independently while consulting with a supervising physician as needed.
- Handle episodic care and injury treatment.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (ANCC or AANP) - Required
- Active Virginia medical license - Required
- BLS certification - Required
- Minimum of 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours) - Required
- Provider must be local - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
