Job Opening: Locum Physician - Otolaryngology
Join a dynamic healthcare team at a well-regarded medical center in the heart of Waterloo Iowa! This facility is seeking an experienced Locum Otolaryngologist to provide essential coverage and care. With a supportive environment and a commitment to patient-centered practices this role is an exciting opportunity for professionals ready to make an impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for ER and post-op patients.
- Perform ENT-related surgeries and support clinic volume.
- Manage inpatient responsibilities at the facility.
- Conduct various procedures including basic ENT clinic care nasopharyngeal scopes and biopsies.
- Oversee a daily clinic volume of 15-25 patients.
- Utilize Epic for Electronic Medical Records.
- Work collaboratively with 2:1 nursing and ancillary staff support.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Otolaryngology - REQUIRED
- Active IA License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
- Fellowship Trained in ENT - REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified - REQUIRED
- Active Iowa Medical License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship Training in Otolaryngology - REQUIRED
